We want to give emerging designers a commercial canvas — a chance to create an original design for a Bamboo Blooms planter and, if selected, see that design become part of a real product collection.
1. CREATE — Develop an original artwork for a Bamboo Blooms planter.
2. SUBMIT — Tell us about yourself, your inspiration and upload your design.
3. SELECTION — Designs with commercial potential may be selected for further development.
4. PRODUCTION — Selected artwork can be prepared as a production decal and applied to a Bamboo Blooms planter.
5. GO GLOBAL — A selected design could become part of the Bamboo Blooms collection and be sold in more than one country.
If your design is selected for the Bamboo Blooms Collection, the opportunity does not have to stop at your home country.
A design created in Manchester might later appear on Bamboo Blooms pots sold in the USA, Australia, Canada or elsewhere as the brand expands.
The idea is simple: the success follows the design. Qualifying sales featuring a selected design could generate a designer royalty and a matching contribution to the designer’s nominated eligible charity.
We want the designer to be part of the story behind the product. Selected designers can be recognised on the Bamboo Blooms website, where customers can discover the designer, their location, the inspiration behind their artwork and the story of the design.
