It’s a natural question when you hear that a planter is made with natural fiber materials.
From our experience, under normal conditions we expect a single-colour Bamboo Blooms planter to provide around 3–5 years of use, indoors or outdoors, in hot or cold climates.
Our patterned pots use UV-protected inks. Like other coloured products exposed to strong sunlight, the pattern may gradually fade over time, particularly in prolonged direct sun.

AUSTRALIAN SUMMER SUN
During an Australian summer we ran our own practical durability test. We filled a Bamboo Blooms planter with soil, watered it from the top and filled the reservoir.
Each night the planter went into our garage freezer. Each morning it came back outside into direct summer sunlight, with shade temperatures reaching up to about 36°C and still higher temperatures in direct sun.
We repeated the cycle for 30 days and nights. At the end of the test, the planter remained in excellent condition.
This was an in-house practical test, not an independent laboratory test or a certified temperature-rating test. It is simply one of the ways we put our products through real-world punishment before we are satisfied with them.
